Time: 12 Noon - 8 PM
Place: Lake Absegami (the lake is within the park. refer to this map. Look for Triveni members OR banner near picnic tables)

At the entrance to the park, you need to pay $10 per car. Parking in the lake parking lot is FREE. We encourage people to carpool.

Food, snacks & water will be served by Triveni.
Lunch - Pav Bhaji & upittu
Evening snacks - tea, water melon, musukin jooLa
Dinner - Pulyogre & mosaranna
Following morning - tea (provided milk survives overnight)
Water will be available all day long. It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep a bottle to refill.
Any other snacks are encouraged.

Games/Activities:

Carrom, badminton, frizbee, swimming, boating (Triveni is renting a boat for the day), lemon & spoon, water baloon. Any other games and activities you can think of are welcome.

Tents:

So far only 2 tents will be pitched and people staying overnight are also finalized. There will be room for 2 more tents ONLY. If anybody else is interested to stay overnight, they will be required to come fully equipped with their tents. Shower facility is available at the park.

People are requested to bring their own camping gear or make prior arrangements to share with others. Outdoor cooking gear is also encouraged, since there are NO POWER OUTLETS

Triveni will be reserving a group camp site suitable for 25 people and also renting a couple of boats for use by our members all day long. All are required to bring their own camping/tent equipment and/or share with others. Apart from our own camping tents, the facility also provides shelter spaces for sleeping at night for an additional fee.

  • Lean-tos: Nine handicap accessible lean-tos each with a hardwood floor and a woodburning stove. Outdoor picnic table, fire ring and grill. Flush toilets, showers, and laundry facilities are within walking distance. Located on the south shore. Accommodates a maximum of six people. Open all year. $25 per night.
  • Shelters: Six lakeside shelters with two bunk rooms, one double-deck bunk in each room, a living room with a picnic table and bench, woodburning stove and screened double door. Outdoor grill for cooking, table and benches. Flush toilets and shower facilities are nearby. Shelters are located along the north shore of Lake Absegami. No ground fires and no outside wood fires allowed. Accommodates a maximum of four people. Open April 1 through October 31. $8 a bunk per night, based on the number of bunks.
