Triveni Arts Group (TAG)

TAG or Triveni Arts Group was formed to promote artists of Karnataka in the Delaware Valley. It was ratified by the General body of Triveni at the Deepavali celebrations in 2000. Under the umbrella of Triveni, TAG's mission is to promote visiting and local artists from Karnataka. In the past, TAG has held concerts by Vani Sateesh, Rameshwar Hegde, Amrita Narayan, and the violin maestros Mysore Nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath. TAG also collaborated with Sruti to arrange a double header, that commenced with a grand violin concert by the Mysore brothers (sponsored by Sruti and TAG), followed by M.S.Sheela's vocal music concert sponsored by Sruti.

Some of the artistes featured by TAG are Madhava Gudi, Ganapathi Bhat, D.Balakrishna, Parameshwar Hegde.

TAG intends to arrange one or more music or dance performances a year.  We urge members and non-members to attend these performances in large numbers, for good entertainment, and to make the mission a success.
