Ugadi 2012

“Yuga and adi” means beginning of an astronomical cycle. It is also the first day of Chaitra, the first month of the traditional Hindu Calendar followed in our Kannada Naadu. Ugadi is also known as Chandramana Ugadi or Chandramana Varsha Thodaku or Vatsara Arambha. Yugadi-2012, Kannada New Year which marks the beginning of “Sree Nandana Nama Samvatsara” (2012-2013 Hindu Year), will be on March 23, 2012 as per our calendar.  Bevu-Bella (Neem & Jaggery) has an important symbolic meaning that life brings different experiences ranging from sweet to bitter. Therefore each individual should learn to take the different experiences in one's stride and move ahead. On behalf of our EC Team, here's wishing you all a very happy, healthy, wealthy & prosperous "Sree Nandana Nama Samvatsara" to our entire community.
