Triveni's Executive Committee is pleased to be able to say that we are ending the year of cultural events with a very successful Deepavali and Rajyotsava celebration! We were treated to a variety of cultural performances, a special musical presentation by guest artists and a delightful snack and dinner! This year’s event saw many long-time and new members come together as a community, participate and enjoy each other’s company. 

The program began with a ‘Meravanige’ of Kannadamabe- a tribute to Karnataka on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava. From the eldest to the youngest members joining in the procession carrying lamps and the Karnataka flag, we welcomed Karnataka maate, the heart and soul of Triveni Kannada Sangha, to the tune of ‘Hacchevu Kannadada Deepa’. This was followed by enthusiastic performances by Triveni children and adults like group and solo singing, dancing, instrument recital etc. Our heartfelt thanks to the performers and to all the parents for supporting and encouraging their kids to participate, helping them practice and bringing out their amazing talents for all of us to enjoy year after year. A group of Triveni ladies then surprised us with some amazing acting skills with a witty skit, directed by our very own Sri Umesh Jois. 

Special thanks to our guest artists, Smt. Jayanthi Nadig and Group who enthralled us with their lively singing. The bouquet of melodious Kannada songs presented by Smt. Nadig, Sri Simhadri Santebennur, Dr Babu Keelara and Sri Sridhar Subbarao were truly icing on the cake. Special mention must be made of Sri Balu Nadig for providing audio visual support for this performance. 

The organizing committee expresses their gratitude to all our amazing volunteers for their enthusiasm, hard work and dedication in putting this event together. Decorations, stage set up, audio visual support, photography, videography, food planning and serving, clean up etc, - they work behind the scenes and their help is much appreciated. We thank the many donors and sponsors of the program. 

Last, but not least, a very sincere thank you to all the attendees. Without your continued support, we would never be able to put on events like this. This is your Triveni. You can help it grow; invite your friends and family to the programs, encourage your children and grandchildren to get involved. Triveni is very happy to welcome all our new members and look forward to their active participation.
